This popular series aims to assimilate the world and spread the cult formula across the spectrum of humanity and popular culture, meanwhile giving insight into famous people and homogenizing celebrity lifestyle.
These Todd Memes were selected, animated, and accompanied by custom audio to compliment and spotlight their specific personalities.
This week’s subjects include Warwick Davis, Hannibal Buress, H.R. Giger, Bob Marley, Ashton Kutcher, James Dean, and Rose Leslie.
I had the pleasure of participating in a SPOOKY maker’s fair around Halloween. It was called Finalcon, a “hand-made” trade show and event at The Museum of Human Achievement–a collaboration between a couple different visual and performing arts companies, including Dystheatre/Make Every Media and Ink Tank Lab.
My booth was an Art Booth that featured some merchandise–stickers, buttons, Daily Drawings, etc.. There were Free Drawings prints. But the featured thing was a whole collection of comics-style acrylic paintings on canvas.
I created two sets of paintings–one was what the audience participants saw when they may have initially passed by my booth, where I was also doing FREE silhouette portraits of people with their spirit animals. The 2ND set of paintings is what they saw when they came back from the key note address of Finalcon, given by Diggs Manibus.
At that point, the TRUE Finalcon could be viewed by people, and of course that’s when the cultish hand-themed nature of my booth was present and the 2nd set of paintings was out, each a foil to its counterpart.
